Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
DBT was developed by Marsha M. Linehan to treat people with borderline personality disorder.  Research shows that it is also effective to treat people who have difficulty with regulating moods and emotions including self-injury.  The four modules of DBT are: mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance.  Bridging Hope Counseling Offers DBT groups.  Learning and refining skills for changing behavioral, emotional and thinking patterns associated with problems in living or that cause negative consequences, distress or misery.
