Make an online Payment

Need to make a payment? Click on the button above or call Linda Larson with our billing department at 763-400-7081. Some HSAs do not work to pay online, you may need to call the billing department.

Instructions to make a payment online:

1. Click on the "Make Payment Now" button. It will take you to an outside secure webpage. 

2. Type the amount you wish to pay and click on "Submit".

3. It will bring you to another page. Enter Name, Secure credit card information, Address, Email you would like to recieve confirmation to, Verification that you are not a robot and click "Pay With Your Credit Card".

4. You will recieve confirmation of your payment and also recieve an email.

5. Thank you for your payment! Please contact Linda Larson if you have any billing questions 763-400-7081.

If you would like to set up a re-occuring credit card payment, you can set that up through our billing department.

 

Insurance

Some of us accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Preferred One, Health Partners, Tricare (Contracted, not Certified), all BHP (Behavioral Healthcare Providers - UCare, Fairview Health Choice, Patient Choice, America's PPO, Medica (not all providers), United Health Care, Medical Assistance (Medicaid) and some EAPs. We are not Medicare providers.  All other client are required to make payment for sessions at the time of service.   However, your payment maybe reimbursed through Out-of-Network benefits, a Medical Flex Spending account or a Health Savings Account.  It is the individual’s responsibility to check with their insurance provider to verify out-of-network coverage prior to the start of therapy if attempting reimbursement.  We do have a billing department that verifies insurance before the first appointment.

You do have a choice to not use insurance and pay cash.  If you don't use insurance, a mental health diagnosis will not be on your medical record.  A coded receipt can be provided to you to submit to your insurance with appropriate DSM diagnosis codes, if requested.  If you choose to go through insurance and do not want to use fee-for-service, we would be happy to recommend a counseling service that would work for you.  We want to make sure you are happy with the services that you receive.

We require a 24 hour cancelation notice for any scheduled appointments, except in the case of a verifiable emergency.  Failure to attend a session without giving notice will result in a fee up to $100.   Canceling a session with less than twenty-four (24) hour notice will result in a $75 fee, or the cost of the full session if the agreed upon fee per session is less.

Due to changes in insurance, we do not offer a 90-minute session with insurance. 

We accept credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express & Discover), checks, money orders or cash at the beginning of each session.          


Bridging Hope Counseling accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover at their Rogers and Buffalo offices in the Minnesota Twin Cities metro area of Minneapolis and St. Paul. 

 

 

Fee-for-Service versus Insurance

Many people do not understand what is means to receive counseling or mental health services.  To have therapy services covered under insurance, you have to have a mental health diagnosis.  Once you have a mental health diagnosis, this becomes a part of your permanent health care record. Since you have a mental health diagnosis, the insurance company may have access to your clinical information about you to be covered.  Your diagnosis, treatment plan and case notes may be released to the insurance company if they request this information. We want to make sure our clients know the difference.  It's great to use your insurance benefits, we also want you to understand it means you will recieve a mental health diagnosis.
